Component Technology, designers of structural components, has a unique relationship with the Architect, the ultimate designer of the entire structure. No other supplier shares similar critical structural concerns. We also share a common customer as well as a common goal; to provide a safe and accurate structural roof or floor system capable of supporting all required loads and achieving the final desired effect.

To this end we have launched a program with select architects to exchange CAD files of floor plans and truss placement plans during the early stages of plan development. Early incorporation of detailed truss information can help discover framing efficiencies, assist architects with required detailing, and streamline the building department plan review process.
